American Dream
"Gastby bought that house so that Daisy would be just across the bay."
This reflects the American Dream because all Gastby wants is Daisy. He has everything else in the American Dream, but he still inst happy because he doesnt have her. If he were to get Daisy then he would finally have his idea of the American Dream, but until then it is all useless.
Moral Decay
"The best thing a girl can be in this world is a beautiful little fool.."
This reflects moral decay because Daisy is not living by her morals. She is just ignoring them all so that way she can have things like money. She is even hoping that for her daughter. If she stuck true to morals, she wouldnt let Tom cheat on her and do the things he does. She would leave him for a proper marriage. Instead she pretends to not know whats going on and keep the money.
Class
"The rich get richer and the poor get children."
The rich will continue to grow and become more and more wealthy. The poor on the other hand get children. This is just saying how the poor wont get money, they will on get married and have kids. They'll struggle to meet ends and provide for their kids where the rich wont have a worry in the world. The rich are only concerned with money, the poor are concerned with more than that. They may even be happier actually having a stable family.
Past/Future
"I married him because I thought he was a gentleman."
At the time, she did love him and at the time that was enough for her. It was enough that he treated her like a gentleman. As time went on, it wasn't enough. She grew shallow and just wanted money. Since he couldnt give that to her she wasnt happy with him.
